Todos Santos: A Display Font That Elevates Brand Identity with Style

Testing Todos Santos Across Branding Applications

On the logo concept, it added a sense of individuality. The client wanted something memorable but not too flashy. I used a custom letter arrangement and paired it with a clean sans serif for the tagline. The contrast worked well, giving the logo both presence and clarity.

For packaging mockups, I placed Todos Santos on a coffee bag label and a small batch honey jar. In both cases, it stood out without feeling overwhelming. Its open structure made it readable even in smaller sizes, though I’d recommend using it at 14pt or larger for best results.

On the website header, it added a strong visual anchor. Used as a hero headline on the homepage, it gave the site a boutique feel. However, I wouldn’t recommend using it for navigation or body copy—this is definitely a display font meant for impact.

In social media layouts, it performed surprisingly well. On Instagram carousels and Pinterest pins, it added a designer touch without sacrificing readability. Just make sure to keep the background clean and avoid busy patterns behind the text.

When it came to business cards, I opted for a minimalist layout. I used Todos Santos for the name and title, paired with a light gray sans serif for the contact info. It gave the card a curated, intentional look that felt premium without being over the top.

Where Todos Santos Excels—and Where It Doesn’t

This font is perfect for branding projects that need a human touch with a modern edge. It works beautifully in logos, posters, flyers, and social media graphics where visual impact is key. It also pairs well with a variety of fonts—especially clean sans serifs or soft serif fonts. I’ve had great success pairing it with Montserrat, Lora, and even a light script for a more expressive layout. However, Todos Santos is not ideal for long-form body text or small-size printing. Its character spacing and stylistic strokes can make it harder to read when used in extended paragraphs or at sizes below 12pt. It’s also not the best choice for corporate or formal branding—if you're designing for a law firm or financial institution, you’ll want to look elsewhere.

Font Features and Practical Considerations

Webfont availability is another plus—this makes it easy to implement on client websites without licensing headaches. Just make sure to double-check the font’s licensing terms before using it in commercial projects like templates, merchandise, or print-on-demand products. Always confirm that your usage falls within the allowed scope.

Final Notes for Designers and Brand Creators

If you're working on a creative brand identity, product packaging, or digital campaign that calls for a standout headline font, give Todos Santos a try. It’s expressive without being overwhelming, and its balanced structure makes it surprisingly versatile. In short, Todos Santos is a display font that brings both personality and polish to the table. Whether you're designing for a café, a local boutique, or a creative studio, it’s worth a spot in your font rotation.
